Dear 2011,

It was, simply, amazing. You’re definitely one to be remembered.

Like years prior, it didn’t go smoothly. But I’ve experienced enough to know that’s to be expected.

I said good-bye to home of nearly a dozen years and began the Las Vegas chapter of my life.

My “circle” has gotten smaller, but in my honest opinion, it’s as strong as it has ever been. Perhaps, maybe even stronger.

You’ve taught me that distance really does make the heart grow fonder.

I’ve learned more about this “love” thing. I won’t delve any further in this letter.

You’ve introduced me to the fast food chain, Canes, which has been feeding me the past 6 or so months.

The best lesson I’ve received during these past twelve months came from within. I’ve matured, mightily, and at the same time, realized I have plenty more to do.

I’m ready for 2012 because of you.
